Billionaire's Row Sets Second Record Sale in Just Two Months
In March, Billionaire's Row, the street where Princess Diana once used to reside, set a new world record for the price of a home at 115 million pounds or approximately $250 million. This week London's the Sun reports that another new record is about to be set.
Reports are that a U.S. Financier, Noam Gottesman is selling the home to England's richest man, billionaire Lakshmi Mittal. MIttal, however, doesn't plan to live there since he already has a 12 bedroom house on the same street. Reports are that he purchased the property for his son for a cool 117 million pounds or 8,000 pounds (about $18,000) per square foot. In case you think there's quite a bit of land involved, check out the picture in the Sun.
Too bad it doesn't have a virtual tour.
