We had dinner with our good friend Malcolm Kaufman last week in San Francisco. Malcolm was one of the agents included in my book Waging War on Real Estate’s Discounters. The quote he gave me for the book was, “When you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.” Apparently, this is a popular saying among the Silicon Valley venture capitalists. (Anyone got some VC connections for this blog???) Anyway, Malcolm just came up with another good one. When someone asked him to discount his commission, he replied by saying, “Are you having financial problems? Do you need to borrow some money?” Chalk up another full commission. What new scripts have you heard to help you earn a full commission?
